Latwogang's “POLSKA GUROM” leads this collection with 29.1M displayed comments. Two uploads from @venommovie follow at 18M and 17.5M. All three figures were read from the original TikTok pages on October 28, 2026.
The collection also includes @meqs's “comment for a cookie,” which displayed 11M. Its 10,900,000-comment Guinness record dates to January 25, 2022, making it an important earlier example of a comment-driven challenge.
For this article, I checked the original uploads and selected 30 accessible videos, then examined their captions and backgrounds for possible explanations of their comment volume. The collection covers individual creators, entertainment accounts, and brands; it is not an official or exhaustive worldwide ranking.
30 Highly Commented TikTok Videos, Ranked
K means thousand; M means million. Counts retain TikTok's displayed precision, with equal displayed values sharing a rank. Video labels are short identifying descriptions, not formal titles supplied by TikTok.

Why These Eight Examples Attracted So Many Comments
Latwogang: A Simple Message of Collective Support
Latwogang's December 6, 2024 upload displayed 29.1M comments. Its caption, “POLSKA GUROM,” gives the post a clear national identity.
A country name or a short slogan is enough to join in, so participation requires little effort. My reading is that the combination of a simple response and a shared identity helps explain this post's appeal: a comment can express support without needing a detailed opinion about the video.
Venom: Commenting Was Part of the Entertainment
Three @venommovie uploads stand out: 18M comments on the October 27, 2024 “Showing up in style” post, 17.5M on the November 2 text-to-speech post, and 11.2M on the October 28 Mrs. Chen introduction.
The release campaign gave commenting a practical role. According to TikTok's account of the Venom promotion, certain keyword comments activated hidden in-app animations. The campaign also included features such as the Venom voice.
That mechanism offers a concrete explanation for unusually high participation. A short comment could produce an immediate response from the app, creating a reason to experiment and try again. The interaction added something to do alongside watching the film's promotional content.
meqs: A Record Attempt That Made Every Comment Count
“comment for a cookie”, uploaded on September 25, 2021, displayed 11M comments. The video combines Minecraft footage with a request to help break a comment record. Guinness World Records documented 10,900,000 comments as of January 25, 2022.
The shared numerical target gives even a brief reply a purpose: every extra comment can move the counter toward a record. The cookie joke keeps the invitation playful, while the challenge offers a reason to return and contribute again. In this format, the comment section is part of the activity being promoted.
Squid Game: Familiar Music and Characters Give Fans Something to React To
Two posts illustrate different points of interest: “sing along while we play a game” displayed 6.2M comments, while “The one behind the mask. Meet No-eul.” displayed 1.6M. Both appeared in December 2024.
The sing-along caption invites recognition and participation through music; the No-eul post focuses on a particular character. Both give fans a specific subject for a response, from recalling a scene to reacting to the introduction.
Netflix Brasil's separate upload adds a regional variation. Its Portuguese caption turns the music and the scramble to reach a door into a joke, providing another route into the same series.
MrBeast: Curiosity With a Broad Invitation
MrBeast's June 19, 2022 project teaser displayed 4.6M comments. The caption says “Something secret we are working on” and includes #everycountry.
Curiosity is a plausible driver here. The project is left undisclosed, while the hashtag suggests a connection to a broad international audience. Together, those elements create room for speculation and the possibility of seeing one's country represented. The invitation is open enough to support several kinds of response.
BTS: A Release With More Than One Point of Interest
The Jin and j-hope running post displayed 2.7M comments, and the “Anywhere, Anytime” running post displayed 2.4M. Both were posted on November 15, 2024, with references to “Running Wild” and Jin's Happy release.
The release supplies a timely occasion for fan participation. Jin appearing with j-hope adds a familiar relationship to the song promotion, and the running motif gives the posts a recognizable shared format. Those details offer several possible subjects for a comment, including the music, the performers, and the collaboration.
LISA: A Release Announcement as a Gathering Point
The “FUTW (Vixi Solo Version)” post, dated February 28, 2025, displayed 1.5M comments. Its caption announces that the official music video is out.
A release announcement gives listeners arriving around the same event a place to gather. Congratulations and reactions to the new work are natural responses to that setting. The release moment and the artist's existing audience therefore offer a plausible explanation for the post's comment potential.
Leah Halton: An Open Invitation to React
Leah Halton's February 6, 2024 “Summer” post displayed 2.5M comments and 80.3M likes during the same check. Its caption is brief and includes #Inverted.
A creator-focused clip in a recognizable format can invite an immediate reaction without setting a formal comment challenge. The much larger like count also provides context: the post attracts different levels of participation through different actions. Its inclusion here rests on the comment counter.
What These Posts Have in Common

The strongest examples give a comment an immediate purpose. It can contribute to a record attempt, trigger an animation, or express support around a release. The action is easy to understand and often requires very little text.
I see these as different forms of participation. A record challenge sets a collective numerical goal. A film campaign can make commenting interactive. A music release gives an existing audience a reason to gather at a particular moment. Similar totals can therefore sit above quite different conversations.
A high total alone does not establish approval or the number of people involved. One account can contribute several comments, and TikTok's comment settings documentation describes filters and approval controls that affect visibility.
The related most commented Instagram posts collection and most commented YouTube videos collection use the same original-post approach. Across these examples, the useful comparison is what each post gives someone to do in its comment section.
Takeaways for Creators and Brands
The most useful ideas here are clear reasons to participate. The meqs post makes each comment's contribution obvious, while the Venom campaign attaches an immediate experience to it. Those mechanisms help explain the appeal of the activity itself.
Timing and recognition matter in the entertainment examples. A release, a character introduction, or a familiar scene gives an existing audience a shared subject. Comment volume then provides a starting point for examining the response.
For a brand, I would assess that response against the campaign's purpose. Repeated words might suit an interactive activation, while a product launch may need questions and useful feedback. A busy comment section is more informative when its activity relates to a defined goal.
A Follow-Up Study With CommentGrid
A comment-level study would help distinguish repeated participation from other responses. The CommentGrid TikTok Comment Exporter provides a way to collect available comments from a supported public video. A source record should retain the individual URL, displayed counter, collection date, and study period. On desktop, the address can be copied from the video's page; in the TikTok mobile app, the route is Share → Copy link.
The returned CSV can be reviewed in Excel or Google Sheets, with JSON available for a structured workflow. Coverage needs to be checked against the returned row count and comment dates. A reply-count field does not establish that every reply text was included, and a comment's likes remain a separate measure.
AI Comment Analysis can help explore themes and questions, with findings checked against the source comments. The TikTok comment export guide covers the download workflow. This would be a separate follow-up; no comment export or full-text study was performed for this article.
Research Method
I checked 41 candidate video URLs and verified numeric comment counters on 35 original pages, then selected the 30 largest displayed values. Six candidates showed “Video currently unavailable” in the browsing session, and five accessible videos fell below the table's cutoff. Candidates came from existing high-comment charts and historical record references.
Each uploader and caption was matched to the original page before recording its comment control. Counters on recommended videos loaded alongside it were excluded. The ranking observations were made on October 28, 2026 and retain the displayed precision: 29.1M is abbreviated, not an independently established total of exactly 29,100,000. Equal displayed values share a rank.
The explanations above are qualitative interpretations of captions, release context, and linked background sources. They do not measure the share of comments caused by each mechanism. The ranking is a curated collection of accessible videos, not a certified worldwide record; an unavailable page does not establish permanent deletion.
Frequently Asked Questions
What Is the Most Commented Video on TikTok?
Latwogang's “POLSKA GUROM” has the highest displayed count in this collection at 29.1M comments, checked on October 28, 2026. This is a ranking of the verified candidates, not an official all-platform record.
Does meqs Still Hold the Guinness Record?
The linked Guinness page lists 10,900,000 comments as of January 25, 2022 for @meqs. The original upload displayed 11M during this check, with higher counters on other videos in the collection. Those observations do not update or revoke a Guinness certification.
Why Do Some Lists Give Different Comment Counts?
Lists can differ in observation date, candidate set, and source. A historical record and a tracked video index cover different evidence. Abbreviated display precision can also account for differences between published figures.
Does 1M Mean Exactly One Million Comments?
M means million, but the displayed 1M is abbreviated. It does not provide an exact integer count or establish a difference between two videos showing the same value.
Are the Most Liked TikTok and the Most Commented TikTok the Same?
They measure different activity. Video likes, comments under a video, and likes received by one comment are separate counters. This ranking uses the video comment total.
Do Millions of Comments Mean Millions of People?
No. An account can comment several times, and a person can use several accounts. Counting distinct commenting accounts requires comment-level data with suitable author identifiers.
Can All Comments Under These TikToks Be Exported?
A complete export cannot be assumed from the public total. Coverage depends on video accessibility, available comments and replies, the collection method, and current limits. The returned dataset and completion status need to be checked. CommentGrid works with available comments; a displayed total in the millions does not guarantee an export of the same size.
